Canada is the second largest country in the world, with a landmass of over nine million square kilometres—spanning the highest point at Mount Logan,Yukon to the Easternmost point in Cape Spear, Newfoundland and every point in between. As seen in the artwork, Canada is home to cascading waterfalls and majestic western mountains, and is known for natural wonders such as the Great Lakes, vast Prairies, sprawling evergreen forests, cold, bare tundra, 41 national parks, and so much more. It is important to acknowledge that the land that Canadians call home is situated on traditional Indigenous territories. Inuit, First Nations, and Métis people have cared for the landscapes depicted in this Doodle for thousands of years and continue to contribute to the strength of this land.
